Our Ministries to Children

PRESCHOOL
PAM Missionaries in South Philadelphia conduct a preschool four days each week. This is an opportunity to address not only the academic, but the spiritual, needs of these children and the immigrant families from which many of them come.

weekly Bible clubs
During the school year children are evangelized and discipled by missionaries and volunteers who teach weekly Bible clubs in their neighborhoods.

5-day Bible clubs
During the summer months, 5-day Bible clubs are held for children throughout the city, where evangelism is the emphasis. Each summer hundreds of children are exposed to the gospel daily for an entire week, and many surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

Camp Streamside
PAM also seeks to assist the children in these Bible clubs to attend a week at Camp Streamside (our sister BCM ministry), by raising funds for “camperships” for those not able to afford it. These opportunities are made possible through generous donations from members of the body of Christ.

Christian Released Time
Christian Released Time classes are held for children in several public schools, with the consent of the principal and the parents. This program provides for students to be released from school once a week, transported to a nearby location for a Bible lesson, then returned to school.

Mailbox Bible Club
Mailbox Bible Club is an innovative way to reach children by sending them age-appropriate Bible lessons. The children fill out and return a lesson sheet, which is graded and sent back to them with another lesson. The process continues until the course is complete.
